About Me
I’m a technical leader who likes turning chaos into clarity—whether that’s an incident, a scaling problem, or an organization that needs better operating mechanisms. My career spans infrastructure, operations, and customer-facing technical leadership, and I’m happiest in the space where you need both deep technical judgment and strong communication to get the right outcome.
I currently lead teams at Amazon Web Services in Enterprise Support, managing Technical Account Managers and Technical Program Managers. The day-to-day is a mix of coaching, strategy, and execution: helping teams and stakeholders navigate escalations, improving how we run large operational programs, and building repeatable ways of working so we’re not relearning the same lessons every quarter.
My foundation is in hands-on systems and IT leadership—servers, virtualization, networking, and the realities of keeping services healthy for real people. These days I’m also exploring applied AI in pragmatic ways (especially local/self-hosted tooling), and I like building prototypes that are clean, functional, and a little obsessive about reliability. I’m based in the Pacific Northwest with my wife, and we share our home with a lively crew of animals.
